For the Future of Central NC

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina (BGCCC) Foundation was formed in 2021 to support the BGCCC through growth-focused management of its endowment.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency with an independent Board of Directors, the Foundation turns your generous donations into programs, infrastructure, and scholarships that help Central Carolina youth thrive and achieve.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina Mission: To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

About the BGCCC Foundation

The Foundation began as an idea in 2018, when Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina board members recognized the need for an independent nonprofit organization to grow and manage its endowment. After three years of fundraising, the Foundation launched in 2021 with the goal of transforming the endowment’s principal into a significant annual gift that supports the Club’s daily operations and youth programs.

Our Vision

The BGCCC Foundation exists to provide long-term financial support to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina, so it can continue to provide enrichment, support, and opportunities to vulnerable Central NC youth.

Give

Your generous gift to the BGCC Foundation enables the long-term financial support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina and programs that provide enrichment, mentorship, food security, and academic opportunities to the youth who need this support most.

There are several ways to give. Choose the gift type that’s right for you, or reach out to plan a donation that fits your unique situation.

Legacy Gift

A legacy gift is a charitable donation made to a nonprofit organization through a formal estate planning document that takes effect after the donor’s death.

Endowed Gift

An endowed gift is a donation intended for permanent investment, where the original principal is preserved while the generated income funds annual distributions for the donor’s designated purpose.

Stock Transfer

A stock transfer to an endowment is known as a gift of securities or an outright gift of appreciated stock. The action is a form of charitable donation, and the endowment is the long-term investment fund into which the securities are transferred.
